Get MusicL Lab Real Strat and/or Real Guitar. They are very solid VSTi's. Before I got Real Strat, I used Real Guitar through NI Guitar Rig. Guitar Rig took those acoustic sounds and made them extremely believable electric sounds. I have fooled my lead guitarist with Real Strat. He was always telling me he could tell the difference, but I knew Real Strat was going to slay him! Of course having the chops to play like David Gilmour would be a much better experience spiritually. Kind of the groove of the post but just had to speak up.
