While tomorrow might be the last actual day of October (or Roctober as I like to call it), the month will continue. That’s because October is clearly the best month of the year. So while November is also great, it’s not great enough to become an extended portion of the true King of Months.

What makes October great? Oh just a few things:

• College football is in full swing
• The leaves turn
• The weather is generally amazing (at least here)
• Those last few rounds of golf before it gets too cold
• World Series
• The hype for Michigan State basketball starts to hit (#1 in Big Ten, #8 national ranking!)
• Halloween, which is clearly the best holiday
• Halloween parties, which are usually some of the best parties
• Apples, apple orchards, doughnuts, cider

I’m shocked at how quick the month flew past though. September and October have just been a blur. All the stuff going on with the house, work (I could go on and on about that, but I’d rather not), and getting together with my friends have just made the time fly. But life is good, so while yesterday is gone, tomorrow looks to be fun too.
