SubscribeVersion 1.5.2 of the best blogging software around came out recently, and I have upgraded. It’s always such a nice smooth process. If you haven’t yet, there’s no reason not to. Not much to say other than that right now. I’m very busy with work and all that, but there are things to say, if I can find the time to say them. Perhaps I take a little break at lunch time.

/ 29 August 2005I was graduated in May, but I’m working for the university now as a real employee (software engineer) while my girlfriend finishes up her degree. I’m interviewing other places though and probably will be taking the GRE soon and looking at getting back into grad school. Things are pretty good right now, actually!
Definitely good to hear from you. And, I bet it was tough to track me down from chargedparticle. Sorry, that site kind of just disappeared didn’t it. Thanks for going through the trouble. How are things on your end?
Also, do you have a corner of the internet to call home yet? I’ll throw up a link when you let me know.

/ 29 August 2005I’m putting together a site again; like chargedparticle, mine kind of fell apart one day (as did I, but that’s a different story). I’ll throw a link your way once I’m off the ground.
Things here are well; I do research for an insurance company, and they’re paying for me to finish school – also, now I’m married and have a child (and will have two kids pretty shortly). Quite a change from a couple of years ago.
Are you doing any sort of prelim studying for the GRE?

Yeah, I’m reviewing the practice tests a fair bit. I haven’t picked a date exactly that I want to take it, but it will probably be in the next 6 weeks or so. I have to do the general one and the computer science subject one. One of the guys I’m living with has a couple books as well, which should hopefully help me with some of the sections on the general test.
